Cadence has an active and entertaining imagination now. We haven't quite seen any imaginary friends pop up yet, but we don't have some imaginary pets. Cadence has a donkey (just his size), a pet fish (who has a dad and you can't play with his toys), and he loves to pretend he's a dog (get things with his mouth, lick you, the works)! It's always a new surprise!
It can be slightly frustrating that most of his imaginary toys are actually mom's things. Yet I can see how there is some wonder in unusual things you don't often use. Here's a little game to get you in his head and exercise your own imagination. Below are some items from our home Cadence has turned into something else. Try to guess what his imagination has invented. The "actual answers" are below (scroll slowly). Leave your funny findings in a comment - we'd love to know what your imagination invents!

Picture 1: 1. A  White Towel, 2. Sewing Machine, 3. Air Pump Attachment, 4. a Red, Medal Thing (seriously I don't even know what it's called and I'd have a hard time describing what you do with it)

Picture 2: 1. Dough Hook, 2. Plastic Box (actually used for his tools currently holding cars) 3. Hanger, 4. The Medal thing w/ a Maraca

How did you do?
Picture 1:
1. A ghost (hanging in the bathroom)
2. A race track/shop for his cars
3. Party Hats (for his cars)
4. A car

Picture 2:
1. A musical instrument (brass or woodwind)
2. A shopping bag (he bought his cars at the store)
3. A sword
4. A birthday cake, the maraca is the candle
